Is it free to join?
Yes! Nurses can create profiles and apply for shifts completely free. Pricing for healthcare facilities is coming soon — contact us to learn more.
How are nurses verified?
All nurses must provide current AHPRA registration, relevant qualifications, and professional references. Our team reviews and verifies each profile before nurses can apply for shifts.
Where does NurseConnect operate?
NurseConnect is built for every Australian state and territory. We are launching now and onboarding facilities starting with major cities — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. Nurses anywhere in Australia can sign up today, get verified, and be first in line as shifts open in their area.
What documents do I need to upload?
You'll need your current AHPRA registration certificate, nursing qualifications (degree or diploma), professional resume, and at least two professional references. Additional certifications relevant to your specialty are also helpful.
How do I apply for shifts?
Once your profile is verified, browse available shifts using our search filters. Click "Apply" on any shift that matches your skills and availability. Facilities review applications and confirm bookings directly through the platform.
When and how do I get paid?
Payment terms are set by each facility and displayed in the shift details. You can track all earnings and payment status in your dashboard.
Can I work at multiple facilities?
Absolutely! You can apply to and work at as many facilities as you like, as long as the shifts don't overlap. Our calendar helps you manage multiple bookings easily.
How do I post a shift?
After creating your facility profile, click "Post New Shift" in your dashboard. Enter shift details including date, time, specialty required, and pay rate. Urgent shifts can be flagged for priority visibility.

What are the fees?

Yes! If you find a great match, you can book the same nurse for ongoing or recurring shifts. Many facilities build relationships with their favorite nurses through our platform.
